IECO Technology allows anyone who is handling ESD sensitive components to move, customize, update, bundle, dice, transport, assemble, solder, test, set-up, calibrate, diagnose and repair ANY static sensitive device or component while keeping it safe from static while transporting or working with it.

We are all aware engineers, technicians and assemblers are required to wear wrist straps, shoe straps and dissipative clothing while working on ESD sensitive parts. To compliment these protective accessories IECO static safe rubberbands should be used in all areas where handling of these parts occur.

Human body motions, unprotected CRT's, brushing against plastics, and other motions electrical and physical can develop electrostatic potentials on critical semiconductors, circuit boards, where flammable gases exist, everywhere where static discharges can be most harmful. IECO Electronic Grade Rubberbands belong in the arsenal of protective equipment at all work stations which require bundling and moving of sensitive parts.

Proper use of conductive bands can supress the problems listed above. Electronic products can survive many years without the unexpected glitches many engineers, technicians and customers have become resigned to overcome or live with.

As a result of investigating undetermined product failures, this product was developed to meet the standards required in numerous manufacturing and processing areas where static control and cleanliness are demanded.

These areas include electronic equipment manufacturing, semiconductor labs, packaging, quality control, in compliance with standards for assembling medical equipment, operating rooms and many other similar and critical areas. All of these are locations where the convenience of rubberbands can offer a helping hand to minimize payroll time for an assistant or assembler and yet not add to product degradation either by particulation or by creating static fields.
